This week marks the return of the bye week period -- for the next couple of months, each week there will be a few of you not competing in a 1-On-1 match. However, that doesn't mean you don't put your picks in. Your total number of correct picks on the year is used for determining Player of the Year, and can also be used as a tiebreaker for playoff positioning. The full explanation can be found here in the FAQ, but the bottom line is "bye week or not, get your picks in".
The first players on a bye this season are Lacie Belles, Waterboys, Vlad M, Ragesters, Bad Mice and Evil Squad Of Evil. You folks won't be competing, but we still need you to get your picks in. If you don't, then it'll be the standard fallback -- you'll be credited with as many picks are there are "away" teams that win this week.
Now then, due to my work schedule this week, getting reading for camping, and a few other assorted life happenings, there's not enough time to do full write-ups for the divisional matches this week. So, I'm just going to list out who'll be seeing divisional action this week:
NFC South: Schwantoes vs. Mike W
NFC North: Rabid Ferrets vs. Ignats
AFC West: Why Not Zoidberg? vs. Lyle Alzado
AFC East: Deesato vs. Ethan C

Getting wins were Schwantoes, Mike C, StuB, Horns, Hyena, Brenda's Bulldogs, Mother Cluckers, Bassturds, Secretly Victorious, Lyle Alzado, Ethan C, Monster Rain and Rabid Ferrets -- congratulations to everyone who picked up a victory this week.
We had a few players go 10-of-13 this week, but Hyena was the only one to go 11-of-13, garnering hom the Week 5 Player of the Week award -- nicely done!
