WEEK 4 PREVIEW

Well, we make through three weeks before the week totally got away from me and I wind up posting a preview with absolutely no preview action.

Will I get something put together before the weekend? Maaaaybe. In the meantime, make sure you get your Thursday pick submitted, and the rest of the week as well if you feel so inclined. Enjoy all!

Man, I hate updating after kickoff. But, the pick chart is now live and ready for you to see if you're one of the four people (well, three, since I'm one of them) with a difference tonight.

Ok, the full weekend picks are in, and we have one specialty match from it, where href="http://www.1on1pool.com/2021/players/hyena.htm">Hyena and Alabama Slammers will face off in our One-Hit Wonder Match of the Week. This week, Hyena is all about the Lions, while Alabama Slammers need a win from the Bears -- oh my!

Ok, shortest preview of the year is about done. Take a look at the full pick chart, and check back tonight to see how the day came together. Good luck everyone!

WEEK 4 RESULTS

Thursday Night Football through 1:00 Sunday Games: A bunch of big upsets made for a crazy-looking pick chart, but when the smoke cleared, three players came away with wins. Congratulations go out to Louisville Islands, Alabama Slammers, and Secretly Victorious who each managed to close things out early.

4:30 Games: More upsets here, as the lower-picked team won three of the four afternoon games, and them in the winner's circle were Black And Blues Brothers, Rabid Ferrets, Vlad M, StuB, Evil Squad of Evil, Brenda's Bulldogs, and Deesato.

Nothing on the line in tonight's game as all 32 players are expecting Tom Brady to womp the Patriots in his return to Foxboro, so take a look at the updated pick chart and take a look back after MNF to see how the week wraps up.

Monday Night Football: Final wins for the week have been chalked up by LV-426 Xenomorphs, Mean Machine, Turf Toe, Why Not Zoidberg?, Jeff B, and Fighting Sporks -- nice job all!

With this, we're down to just four undefeated players -- Alabama Slammers, Black And Blues Brothers, and Brenda's Bulldogs -- who are each seriously on fire this year. Who can keep this going the longest? Well, they don't face each other during the regular season, so will we see three undefeated players heading into the postseason? (No, we almost assuredly will not -- but good luck to each of them!)

Great job by Evil Squad of Evil this week -- going 12-of-16 was the best we saw this week, earning him the Week 4 Player of the Week award.

So that'll do it for another week in the pool -- take a look at the finalized pick chart, see how you're doing in the updated Standings, and get a jump on your Week 5 pick submissions. Have a great week everyone!
